Contract Work, Plant & Equipment and Liability Insurance

SHC offers both project-specific and annual construction and liability insurance policies, and have the ability to provide same day quotations for residential, commercial and light industrial builders with a turnover up to $10m, and any one contract up to $5m.   The policy gives automatic free cover for tools and equipment up to $20,000.

The annual policy provides cover for all projects throughout the year with a one-off up front payment based on your estimated turnover.  A simple one page declaration is all this is required to receive a free quotation.
Cover is also available for all other types of licensed builders such as civil, industrial, excavation and demolition contractors, to name a few.   A slightly different application is necessary for these builders. 

Mobile plant can be covered either as part of the construction policy or as a separate policy for those that have larger fleets of plant.  The separate policy offers broader coverage more suitable for civil contractors.  Same day services on quotations can also be provided for plant.
