Home Building Business Centre now offers a standard Online OHS Management System to use for different building sites as part of running your business. The standard system uses simple and easy to understand language, and is designed for small and medium builders in NSW.
Under OHS laws, a principal contractor must have in place a ‘site specific’ OHS Management System where construction work that is valued at more than $250,000 is being carried out.
Our standard OHS Management System allows you to tailor your OHS Management System for each and every site you are carrying out construction work on, and comply with OHS laws.
Our online OHS Management System will allow you to:
- Pay a one-off fee, with no extra or ongoing costs
- Print the OHS Management System as many times as you like
- Add / change / delete any part of the System electronically before you print it
- Insert your business logo for that professional look

Our standard Online OHS Management System is made up of THREE (3) parts:

PART A
Risk Management Plan – this Plan can assist businesses in complying with general OHS laws, and it also includes standard policies that you can use for your business.
This Plan can be used for all the operations of your business (i.e multiple sites), and is only generally updated whenever a review is carried out.

PART B
Site-specific OHS Management Plan - this Plan can assist building businesses in complying with the specific ‘construction-related’ requirements of OHS laws.
This Plan, after it is tailored suit the needs and site conditions of the relevant construction site, must be used for EACH construction site that the principal contractor controls, where construction work that is to be carried out on that site exceeds $250,000 in value.

Document Library – the Document Library contains all the standard Forms that are referred to in the two Plans in Parts A and B above, and these Forms may be amended and used numerous times throughout the year |
